The “ALS RespCare Course,” jointly sponsored by the Leandro P. Rizzuto Foundation and the Jay and Randy Fishman Program of the University of Pennsylvania and directed by John Hansen-Flaschen, MD of the University of Pennsylvania and Philip Choi, MD of New York University, is a US National Online ALS Respiratory Care Course for clinicians. An accredited continuing education medical course taught by international leaders in home-assisted ventilation, it includes nineteen, 20-30 minute lectures and is self-paced.
We encourage those living with Neuromuscular Disease (NMD) or caring for someone with NMD to spread the word about this course to specialists in pulmonary, critical care, sleep medicine, neurology, and physical medicine as well as respiratory therapists, physiotherapists, and advanced practice providers.
