Influenza Resources
Influenza, called "the Flu" or "seasonal flu" is a respiratory virus that can be life-threatening to those who live with neuromuscular disease.  A weak and/or ineffective cough caused by breathing muscle weakness can make Influenza a difficult illness that can require hospitalization.  Those who have weakened breathing muscles are particularly vulnerable to Influenza complications such as progression to pneumonia.

We at Breathe with MD have compiled the following listing of educational Influenza resources to help you learn more about Influenza, preventative tips, commonly asked questions and more.  Always seek the guidance of your physician when you believe you may be experiencing illness.
